Songs of Praise is being filmed in Coventry - and you can be there

The popular BBC religious show is coming to the Warwick Road United Reformed Church

A popular BBC show is coming to Coventry later this month, and they are looking for people to take part.

Songs of Praise, the religious television programme which broadcasts from churches of different denominations across the UK, have announced that they are coming to Warwick Road United Reformed Church.

It is best known for the hymns sung during the broadcast, and its well known presenters.

The current main presenters include Aled Jones, Katherine Jenkins and Bill Turnbull.

It has been airing consistently on BBC One since 1961.

Taking place on Saturday, May 18, from 6.30pm to 9.30pm, and what's more, they are looking for people to take part.

It is believed to be a recording of songs and hymns, which will be screened on BBC One on a Sunday afternoon.

It is set to take place at Warwick Road United Reformed Church, on Warwick Row in the city centre.
