Kirstie Allsopp: 'I need household help'

Kirstie Allsopp has admitted that she has "lots of help" to keep her house looking tidy.

The Location, Location, Location host claimed that many other celebrities fail to mention that they have staff members who work in their homes.

Allsopp told The Mirror: "I have lots of help because I'm away a lot.

"I get quite cross with people in the public eye pretending they can do it all and aren't honest about how much help they have - it's betraying other women. Would I be able to be as tidy as I am without that help? I doubt it!"

The presenter, who recently sparked a feud with glamour girl Katie Price, also said that she has her fair share of cooking disasters.

She explained: "If I've got plenty of time I'm fine, but if I'm rushing, I panic and it starts to go totally wrong. I'm a big The Archers Omnibus fan, so I tend to try and do my cooking for the week listening to that and Desert Island Discs on a Sunday."
