Panorama and Sherlock perform well for BBC One on Monday

Panorama was Monday night's most-watched programme outside of soaps, while a repeat of Sherlock also performed well for BBC One.

According to overnight data, Panorama was seen by 2.86m (14.5%) at 7.30pm, while the Benedict Cumberbatch drama gathered 2.16m (10.1%) at 8.30pm.

On BBC Two, University Challenge tested 2.76m (12.8%) at 8pm, before Only Connect averaged 2.14m (9.6%) at 8.30pm, and The World's Busiest Railway 2015 interested 2.78m (13.3%) at 9pm. QI followed with 1.17m (6.8%) at 10pm.

ITV's Vet School continued with 2.29m (10.7%) at 8pm (148k/0.7% on +1), while Travel Guides entertained 2.14m (10.2%) at 9pm (134k/0.9%).

Bear's Wild Weekend with Miranda brought in 870k (4.0%) for Channel 4 at 8pm (157k/0.8%), before 24 Hours in Police Custody was seen by 1.37m (6.6%) at 9pm (170k/1.1%), and Muslim Drag Queens appealed to 950k (6.3%) at 10pm (73k/0.9%).

Channel 5's Inside Scientology... And Escaping the Witnesses intrigued 1.15m (5.5%) at 9pm (75k/0.5%), while The Nightmare Neighbour Next Door brought in 625k (4.1%) at 10pm (20k/0.3%).

E4's Made in Chelsea: LA rose to 489k (2.3%) at 9pm, and Young, Free and Single amused 171k (1.1%) at 10pm.
