The Scandalous Lady W brought in a solid audience on Monday (August 17), according to overnight data.
The factual drama - which starred Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer - gathered 2.51m (12.9%) between 9pm and 10.30pm.
Earlier, Great British Menu continued with 1.56m (7.9%) at 7.30pm, before University Challenge tested 2.74m (13.0%) at 8pm, and Only Connect entertained 2.22m (10.3%) at 8.30pm.
On BBC One, Trouble at the Post Office was the night's most-watched programme outside of the soaps, with 3.0m (15.3%) at 7.30pm. A repeat of Sherlock followed with 2.27m (11.0%) at 8.30pm.
ITV's Vet School dipped to 2.29m (10.7%) at 8pm (125k/0.6% on +1), while Travel Guides entertained 2.28m (11.2%) at 9pm (149k/0.9%).
On Channel 4, Flying to the Ends of the Earth averaged 960k (4.5%) at 8pm (101k/0.5%), before 24 Hours in Police Custody was watched by 1.39m (6.8%) at 9pm (185k/1.2%), and Revenge Porn shocked 1.23m (7.9%) at 10pm (195k/2.5%).
Ben Fogle: New Lives in the Wild climbed to 1.62m (8.0%) at 9pm (120k/0.8%), while Under the Dome thrilled 506k (3.1%) at 10pm (42k/0.5%).
E4's Made in Chelsea: LA continued with 458k (2.3%) at 9pm, and Young, Free and Single amused 205k (1.3%) at 10pm.
