Friday Big Brother live eviction seen by more than 1 million

The latest Big Brother live eviction was seen by more than 1 million people on Channel 5 on Friday (June 3) evening.

An average audience of 1.01 million (5.6%) tuned in to watch another regular and legendary housemate leave the compound. The show peaked with 1.17 million (6.1%).

A further 619k (5.2%) watched Big Brother's Bit on the Side, while 363k (5%) watched live footage from the house from 11.30pm.

BBC One's Celebrity Masterchef was the evening's highest-rated show, attracting 3.59 million (19.4%) at 8.30pm.

BBC One's evening kicked off with 1.77 million (10.5%) for The One Show at 7pm, followed by 1.7 million (9.9%) for Would I Lie To You? immediately after.

The night ended with 2.65 million (22%) for The Graham Norton Show at 10.35pm, which featured highlights from the previous season.

Over on ITV, Gino's Italian Escape: A Taste of the Sun was seen by 2.18 million (12.5%) and Doc Martin played to 1.79 million (9.6%).

Tennis dominated BBC Two's schedule, with 1.3 million (7.1%) watching Wimbledon 2Day. The evening continued with 1.63 million (8.6%) for Gardener's World at 9.30pm and 1.15 million (6.6%) for RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 2015.

8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown was Channel 4's highest-rated show with 1.2 million (6.5%), narrowly beating The Last Leg with 1.18 million (7.8%).
