Celebrity MasterChef returned with higher ratings than last year, according to overnight data.
The BBC One competition opened its kitchen doors to an average 3.83 million (19.7%) at 9pm, up from last year's 3.5m overnight score.
Earlier, Watchdog interested 3.31m (18.3%) at 8pm, while Question Time brought in 2.45m (23.2%) at 10.35pm.
BBC Two's The Hairy Bikers and Lorraine Pascal attracted 1.28m (7.1%) at 8pm, followed by the final Stonemouth with 1.51m (7.8%) at 9pm. Mock the Week made 1.43m (8.5%) laugh at 10pm.
On ITV, Big Box Little Box attracted 2.12m (11.5%) at 8.30pm, with a further 107,000 (0.5%) on +1. Britain's Busiest Airport was seen by 2.72m (14.0%) at 9pm (133k/0.9%).
Channel 4's latest episode of Dogs: Their Secret Lives intrigued 1.14m (6.3%) at 8pm (169k/0.9%), while The Tribe brought in 1.05m (5.4%) at 9pm (260k/1.7%).
On Channel 5, Big Brother continued with 948k (4.9%) at 9pm (264k/1.7%), followed by Person of Interest with 607k (3.9%) at 10pm.
E4's finale of The Big Bang Theory amused 948k (5.2%) at 8.30pm (232k/1.2%), while ITV2's Love Island entertained 293k (1.5%) at 9pm.
On Dave - rebranded David for the night - new series Hoff the Record launched with 181k (0.9%) at 9pm.
