Big Brother dips below 1 million viewers on Thursday

Big Brother fell below one million viewers on Thursday (June 4), according to overnight figures.

The Channel 5 reality series brought in 928k (4.8%) in the slightly earlier timeslot of 9pm (149k/1.0% on +1), down around 72,000 viewers night-on-night.

Earlier, Jack the Ripper: The Missing Evidence intrigued 561k (3.0%) at 8pm (92k/0.5%), while No Going Back was seen by 527k (3.3%) at 10pm (46k/0.5%).

ITV's documentary Britain's Busiest Airport - Heathrow topped the ratings outside of the soaps, with 3.12m (16.0%) at 9pm, and was boosted by a further 138,000 (0.9%) tuning in on ITV+1. Earlier, Big Box Little Box entertained 2.33m (12.2%) at 8.30pm (66k/0.3%).

BBC One's Watchdog also brought in 3.12m (16.5%) at 8pm, while The Truth About Your Teeth interested 2.88m (14.7%) at 9pm. Question Time followed with 2.29m (22.6%) at 10.45pm.

BBC Two's Antiques Road Trip continued with 1.25m (7.3%) at 7pm, before Springwatch appealed to 2.21m (11.7%) at 8pm, and The Game gathered 1.31m (6.7%) at 9pm. QI brought in 830k (4.9%) at 10pm.

Over on Channel 4, Born Naughty averaged 1.21m (6.4%) at 8pm (255k/1.3%), while Dementiaville was watched by 1.01m (5.1%) at 9pm (195k/1.3%).

Meanwhile, E4's The Big Bang Theory passed the one million mark with 1.03m (5.4%) at 8.30pm.
