The Great Comic Relief Bake Off tops ratings with 7 million

The Great Comic Relief Bake Off topped the ratings on Wednesday (February 18), according to overnight figures.

The second episode of the charity series attracted 7.02m (29.8%) at 8.30pm, while Room 101 followed with 4.22m (19.3%) at 9.30pm.

Over on BBC Two, Antiques Road Trip continued with 1.40m (6.8%) at 7pm, before Alaska: Earth's Frozen Kingdom interested 2.38m (10.1%) at 8pm.

The latest episode of Wolf Hall dipped to 2.46m (10.8%) at 9pm.

ITV's Midsomer Murders intrigued 3.66m (15.8%) at 8pm (373k/1.9% on +1).

On Channel 4, The Restoration Man appealed to 990k (4.2%) at 8pm (144k/0.6%), while 24 Hours in A&E brought in 1.73m (7.6%) at 9pm (260k/1.7%). Junk Food Kids: Who's to Blame? captivated 1.33m (8.6%) at 10pm (198k/2.4%).

GPs: Behind Closed Doors averaged 890k (3.8%) for Channel 5 at 8pm (93k/0.4%), before World's Biggest Hips attracted 1.05m at 9pm (60k/0.4%), and Erin Brockovich entertained 388k at 10pm (25k/0.5%).
