The Gift dips to 3.2 million for second episode on Monday

BBC One's The Gift dipped in the ratings when going up against live football on Tuesday, overnight data reveals.

The charitable series dropped by around 400,000 viewers from last week to an average 3.27 million (15.0%) at 9pm. Later, Count Arthur Strong amused 1.53m (12.9%) at 10.35pm.

ITV's live coverage of the Champions League topped the night outside soaps with 4.33m (19.5%) at 7.30pm.

On BBC Two, Alex Polizzi: The Fixer appealed to 1.90m (8.5%) at 8pm, followed by Inside the Commons with 1.73m (7.9%) at 9pm. Rhod Gilbert's Work Experience gathered 852k (4.8%) at 10pm.

Channel 4's Can Property Pay Your Wages? was seen by 1.06m (4.7%) at 8pm (160k/0.7% on +1), while The Romanians Are Coming interested 1.55m (7.1%) at 9pm (229k/1.4%). Kid Criminals fascinated 979k (6.1%) at 10pm.

On Channel 5, Costa Del Casualty brought in 936k (4.2%) at 8pm, followed by Killer Psychopaths with 833k (3.8%) at 9pm (125k/0.8%) and 10,000 BC with 607k (3.7%) at 10pm.

BBC Three's Uncle rose to 445k (2.5%) at 10pm, while E4's The 100 continued with 551k (2.5%) at 9pm (134k/0.8%).
