Silent Witness continues ratings lead on Tuesday with 5.6m

Silent Witness remained on top of the ratings on Tuesday evening (January 27), overnight data reveals.

BBC One's crime drama attracted an average of 5.58 million viewers (23.6%) at 9pm. Later, Count Arthur Strong entertained 1.39m (11.9%) at 10.45pm.

On BBC Two, Alex Polizzi: The Fixer interested 1.78m (8.2%) at 8pm, while Holocaust Memorial Day documentary Touched by Auschwitz was watched by 1.17m (5.3%) at 9pm.

ITV's River Monsters drew in 2.20m (10.2%) at 7.30pm (111k/0.5% on +1), before Bad Builders: Bang to Rights gathered 2.29m (10.6%) at 8pm (134k/0.6%). Paul O'Grady's Animal Orphans appealed to 2.51m (10.7%) at 9pm (151k/1.8%).

Over on Channel 4, Phil Spencer: Secret Agent averaged 1.1m (5.1%) at 8pm (165k/0.7%). Later, 24 Hours in Police Custody interested 1.01m (4.3%) at 9pm (236k/1.8%), and Ramsay's Hotel Hell attracted 750k (4.4%) at 10pm (151k/1.8%).

Celebrity Big Brother continued on Channel 5 with 2.39m (10.1%) at 9pm (278k/0.7%), while Britain's Flashiest Families drew in an average of 977k (5.9%) at 10pm (53k/0.6%).

BBC Three's Excluded: Kicked Out of School was seen by 316k (1.3%) at 9pm. On BBC Four, The Children of the Holocaust interested 361k (1.7%) at 9pm.

On E4, The 100 continued with 591k (2.5%) at 9pm (169k/1.1%), followed by Supernatural with 242k (1.5%) at 10pm.
