BT is no longer offering Vision+ boxes to new customers following confirmation that Sky Sports 1 and 2 are available to YouView subscribers.

BT TV users can now subscribe to Sky's premium sports channels along with BT Sport's offerings after a series of lengthy appeals.

Customers were forced to choose between a Vision+ box with Sky Sports, and a YouView box with BT Sport access, but the loophole has now been closed.

BT Vision will continue to supplement the service for the time being, but customers are required to pay £35 at the end of their contract to obtain a YouView box.

Subscribers to BT TV can access both Sky Sports channels for £16.50 per month each, or as a bundle for £22 per month on a flexible, 30-day basis.

With BT Sport in standard definition included in all BT TV packages, customers can now access every broadcast Premier League match for £37 a month plus line rental.

Can't say I've ever been tempted by either BT Vision or YouView
