The Missing bounces back to 5.3m on Tuesday night

The Missing climbed back to over 5 million viewers on Tuesday, overnight data reveals.

The BBC One drama benefited from I'm a Celebrity leaving the schedules, rising by over 600,000 viewers from last week to an average 5.31m (22.8%) at 9pm.

On BBC Two, MasterChef: The Professionals appealed to 2.79m (12.0%) at 8pm, followed by Secrets of the Castle with 1.49m (6.4%) at 9pm.

ITV's Champions League coverage of Liverpool's draw with Basel scored 4.14m (18.2%) at 7.30pm.

On Channel 4, Kirstie's Handmade Christmas interested 1.81m (7.8%) at 8pm (252k/1.1% on +1), followed by My Big Fat Gypsy Christmas with 1.95m (8.4%) at 9pm (332k/2.1%). A Gogglebox repeat amused 1.30m (8.3%) at 10pm (229k/2.8%).

Channel 5's repeat of Michael Bublé's Christmas Special entertained 799k (3.5%) at 8pm (118k/0.5%), while Kids' Hospital at Christmas gathered 1.04m (4.4%) at 9pm (115k/0.7%).

On BBC Three, documentary Our War fascinated 404k (1.9%) at 9pm.

On Sky1, the latest episode of The Flash was seen by 518k (2.2%) at 8pm, while MTV's Geordie Shore brought in 367k (2.3%) at 10pm.
