Downton Abbey dropped slightly from last week for its finale episode, overnight data reveals.
The ITV drama dipped by around 100,000 to an average audience of 7.92 million (34.2%) at 9pm, with an added 366k (2.4%) on +1. This is down by around 1.7m from last year's finale, which attracted an average of 9.64m.
Earlier, The X Factor fell by around 400k to 7.17m (27.6%) at 8pm (316k/1.3% on +1). This is the lowest-rated results show of the series so far, and second-lowest Sunday overall. Meanwhile, Keep It in the Family entertained 3.28m (14.6%) at 7pm.
On BBC One, Strictly Come Dancing easily won the night with 9.30m (35.9%) at 7.45pm, dropping around 400k from last week.
Countryfile appealed to 7.07m (32.9%) at 6.30pm, while F1 coverage scored 3.26m (13.2%) at 8.30pm. Match of the Day 2 brought in 2.14m (19.1%) at 10.35pm.
BBC Two's Mekong River with Sue Perkins attracted 2.36m (9.1%) at 8pm, while Police Under Pressure intrigued 1.33m (5.5%) at 9pm.
On Channel 4, Speed with Guy Martin interested 1.40m (5.4%) at 8pm (240k/1.0%), followed by Homeland with 1.14m (4.7%) at 9pm (194k/1.1%).
Channel 5's coverage of the 2014 MTV EMAs entertained 499k (2.4%) at 9pm.
Elsewhere, ITV2's Xtra Factor gathered 863k (3.4%) at 9pm (100k/0.6%), while BBC Three's Family Guy amused 936k (4.4%) at 10pm.
On ITVBe, the latest episode of The Only Way Is Essex was seen by 713k (3.8%) at 10pm.
