Gogglebox Celebrity Special watched by 3.72 million

Gogglebox: Celebrity Special played to an audience of 3.72 million (16.5%) on Friday (October 18) evening.

Channel 4's Stand up to Cancer charity special kicked off with 1.19 million (6.3%) at 7pm, although viewership would increase throughout the night.

An average audience of 1.53 million (7.5%) watched Taylor Swift and Jamie Oliver's Naked Chef sketch at around 7.30pm, while 1.84 million (8.4%) tuned in for Andy Murray in Andy Murray: The Movie.

Average viewing figures would rise to 2.28 million (10.4%) between 8.30 and 9.15pm, before peaking for the Gogglebox: Celebrity Special.

Over on ITV, the second episode of drama series Lewis was the evening's highest-rated show outside of soaps, playing to an average audience of 4.54 million (20.5%) at 9pm.

Secrets from the Sky was seen by 2.87 million (13.6%) an hour earlier at 8pm.

BBC One's evening began with 3.55 million (18.9%) for The One Show at 7pm, followed by 2.88 million (14.5%) for A Question of Sport.

Would I Lie to You? entertained 3.15 million (14.5%) at 8.30pm, while the channel's evening peaked with 4.05 million (18.1%) for Have I Got News for You.

BBC One's night ended with 3.24 million (24.2%) for The Graham Norton Show, which featured guests Robert Duvall, and Robert Downey Jr.

Over on BBC Two, The Great British Bake Off Masterclass picked up an average of 1.54 million (8%) viewers at 7pm, followed by an evening high of 2.18 million (10.2%) for Mastermind at 8pm.

Elsewhere, Lorraine Pascale: How to Be a Better Cook informed 1.19 million (5.4%) viewers at 8.30pm, Tom Kerridge's Best Ever Dishes continued with 1.06 million (4.7%) at 9pm, while Gardeners' World played to 1.42 million (6.5%) at 9.30pm.

QI was seen by a slightly reduced audience of 1.77 million (9.7%) at 10pm.

Titanic: Three Hours That Shook the World was Channel 5's highest-rated show of the evening with 738k (3.4%) at 8pm, while Body of Proof was seen by 598k (3.5%).

BBC Three's Family Guy was among the most popular multichannel shows, peaking with 446k (7%).
