Made in Chelsea drops 350,000 viewers on Bank Holiday Sunday

Made in Chelsea NYC audience figures dropped by approximately 350k, as regular viewers enjoyed the Bank Holiday weekend.

After recording a series high of 720k for last week's show, yesterday's (August 24) instalment was viewed by just 372k (1.9%) at 9pm and 102k (0.7%) on E4+1.

BBC One's Countryfile once again scored the biggest ratings of Sunday evening, attracting a reduced audience of 4.71 million (23.7%) at 8pm.

It was sandwiched between Nature's Miracle Orphans and The Village, which were watched by 3.73 million (21.9%) and 3.52 million (17.6%), respectively.

With highlights of the games between Tottenham Hotspur and QPR, as well as Manchester United vs Sunderland, Match of the Day 2 bucked the downward trend, and was actually seen by an increased audience of 2.56 million (20.4%).

Celebrity Big Brother was another show that seemed to be unaffected by the Bank Holiday, entertaining 1.7 million (8.6%) at 9pm. Channel 5 movie Legally Blonde was viewed by 995k (5.4%) at 7pm.

Come On Down! The Game Show Story was ITV's highest-rated show of the evening, playing to 2.27 million (13.4%) at 7pm.

It was followed by 2.07 million (9.9%) for The Zoo at 8pm and 1.3 million (6.5%) for The Great War: The People's Story at 9pm.

Its evening began with 860k (5.1%) for the Formula 1: Belgian Grand Prix - Highlights at 7pm, followed by 1.99 million (10%) for Dragons' Den at 8pm.

BBC Two's evening peaked with 2.16 million (10.6%) for James May's Cars of the People, while a repeat of the Mark Gatiss-penned An Adventure in Space and Time was seen by 640k (4.6%).

Over on Channel 4, How Britain Worked attracted an average audience of 620k (3.6%), while The Mill concluded with 1.2 million (6%).

Channel 4's premiere of 2012's The Cold Light of Day was seen by 1.37 million (7.6%) at 9pm.

Family Guy performed well for the multichannels, with the first of a double-bill scoring ratings of 894k (5.1%).
