MasterChef still top on Thursday with 4.4 million

MasterChef was still on top of the ratings outside of soaps on Thursday, according to overnight data.

BBC One's competition dipped by around 300,000 from last week to 4.4 million (20.3%) at 8pm. Parking Mad gathered 3.9m (18.3%) at 9pm, while Question Time intrigued 2.4m (21.6%) at 10.35pm.

On BBC Two, the semi-finals of the World Snooker Championships scored 1.5m (7.1%) at 7pm. Protecting Our Parents was seen by 970k (4.5%) at 9pm, followed by a QI repeat with 1.2m (6.4%) at 10pm.

ITV's repeat of Paul O'Grady's For the Love of Dogs appealed to 2.8m (13.1%) at 8.30pm (100k/0.5% on +1). Wanted: A Family of My Own was seen by 2.2m (10.3%) at 9pm (134k/0.8%).

On Channel 4, Posh Pawn interested 1.5m (6.8%) at 8pm (207k/1.0%). Heston Blumenthal's new series of Great British Food brought in 1.0m (4.7%) at 9pm (162k/1.0%).

Channel 5's Beware Cowboy Builders attracted 747k (3.4%) at 8pm, followed by Family Massacre: The Jersey Slayer with 1.0m (4.8%) at 9pm (131k/0.8%). Person of Interest thrilled 732k (4.3%) at 10pm.

BBC Four documentary First Georgians: German Kings Who Made Britain educated 1.2m (5.6%) at 9pm.

On E4, The Big Bang Theory amused 1.2m (5.5%) at 8pm (327k/1.5%), followed by How I Met Your Mother with 636k (2.9%) at 8.30pm (252k/1.2%).

ITV2's Celebrity Juice entertained 953k (5.5%) at 10pm (127k/1.4%). On Sky1, Arrow continued with 353k (1.6%) at 8pm.
