Made in Chelsea returned with higher ratings than its previous series on Monday (April 7), according to overnight data.
The first episode of the E4 scripted reality show's seventh series attracted 730,000 (4.3%) viewers at 10pm, with a further 135k (1.6%) on +1. This is around 200k higher than the sixth series opener and 100k higher than series five last spring.
Including the +1 figures, it was up around 70% on the timeslot average and up 68% in terms of share, attracting its highest ever overnight audience.
ITV's new drama Undeniable topped the ratings overall outside of soaps with 5.8 million (24.7%) at 9pm (276k/1.6% on +1). I Never Knew That About Britain intrigued 2.7m (11.8%) at 8pm.
On BBC One, Bang Goes the Theory fascinated 2.7m (12.8%) at 7.30pm, while Panorama interested 2.4m (10.3%) at 8.30pm.
New series Treasure Hunters brought in 2.7m (12.1%) at 9pm, and The Michael McIntyre Chat Show climbed by a further 300k from last week to 2.2m (18.7%) at 10.35pm.
BBC Two's University Challenge final quizzed 3.2m (14.2%) at 8pm, followed by the last Mary Berry Cooks with 2.6m (11.2%) at 8.30pm. Business Boomers gathered 1.4m (6.3%) at 9pm, followed by the latest Rev with 1.2m (6.3%) at 10pm.
On Channel 4, Shop Secrets attracted 1.2m (5.3%) at 8.30pm (104k/0.5%), while One Born Every Minute was seen by 1.8m (8.0%) at 9pm (221k/1.3%). 8 Out of 10 Cats amused 926k (5.3%) at 10pm.
Channel 5's Police Interceptors was seen by 870k (3.8%) at 8pm, followed by Shops & Robbers with 933k (4.1%) at 9pm and Law & Disorder with 714k (4.1%) at 10pm.
On Sky1, the second regular slot airing of Game of Thrones' season four opener thrilled 629k (2.8%) at 9pm. 537k (23.9%) tuned-in to watch the live simulcast at 2am.
