Ratings: The Musketeers finalé dips to 3.9 million on Sunday

The Musketeers concluded its first series to just under 4 million viewers on Sunday, according to overnight data.

The BBC One period drama dipped by over 100,000 viewers from last week to 3.98m (17.6%) at 9pm.

Earlier, Countryfile attracted the highest audience of the night with 6.24m (32.2%) at 7pm, followed by Antiques Roadshow with 4.78m (21.4%) at 8pm. Match of the Day 2 scored 2.69m (20.8%) at 10.35pm.

On ITV, Endeavour returned for a new series with 5.03m (21.3%) at 8pm (635k/3.3% on +1). This is around 600k less than last year's opener, but up over 100k from its last episode.

Catchphrase puzzled 3.42m (20.2%) at 6pm (321k/1.7%), followed by Surprise, Surprise with 3.36m (17.3%) at 7pm (509k/2.3%).

BBC Two's Great Barrier Reef repeat brought in 965k (5.0%) at 7pm, while new series Border Country interested 1.25m (5.6%) at 8pm. Louis Theroux's LA Stories fascinated 1.62m (7.1%) at 9pm.

On Channel 4, documentary Secret History gathered 1.13m (5.1%) at 8pm (163k/0.7%). Daniel Radcliffe's The Woman in Black thrilled 1.74m (8.6%) at 9pm (213k/0.6%).

Channel 5's Bulletproof Monk attracted 686k (3.3%) at 7pm (108k/0.5%). Top 40 Ultimate Action Movies was seen by 587k (3.6%).

On ITV2, TOWIE continued with 711k (4.2%) at 10pm (161k/1.8%), topping the multichannels.
