David Tennant's Escape Artist topped the ratings on a quiet Tuesday outside of soaps, overnight data has revealed.
The BBC One drama attracted 5.02 million viewers (22.2%) at 9pm. Later, an Imagine special on Jimi Hendrix was seen by 1.33m (14.4%) at 10.35pm.
On BBC Two, The Great British Bake Off masterclass special interested 2.49m (11.5%) at 7pm. Autumnwatch appealed to 2.95m (13.0%) at 8pm.
James Corden and Mathew Baynton's The Wrong Mans concluded with 1.83m (7.9%) at 9pm, while the Sarah Millican Television Programme amused 1.35m (6.2%) at 9.30pm.
ITV's Tonight special Looking for Love gathered 1.51m (6.7%) at 8pm, followed by documentary On the Run with 1.53m (6.9%) at 9pm (113,000/0.7% on +1).
On Channel 4, Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners brought in 2.12m (9.4%) at 8pm (309k/1.4%). Masters of Sex continued with 760k (3.4%) at 9pm (157k/1.0%).
Channel 5's Cowboy Builders was seen by 931k (4.1%) at 8pm (139k/0.6%). The Mentalist interested 1.30m (5.7%) at 9pm (153k/1.0%), followed by Castle with 826k (5.1%) at 10pm (111k/1.3%).
On BBC Three, Don't Tell the Bride topped the multichannels with 926k (4.1%) at 9pm.
