Celebrity MasterChef returned with over 4.5 million on Wednesday evening (July 31), according to overnight figures.
The 2013 edition of the cooking series - featuring the likes of Katy Brand and Janet Street-Porter - served up 4.7m (22.3%) at 8pm on BBC One.
Nigel Havers's appearance on Who Do You Think You Are? was the most-watched show of the night with 5.0m (23.1%) at 9pm. Earlier, a repeat of The Sheriffs Are Coming was seen by 4.3m (22.1%) at 7pm.
On BBC Two, Restoration Home attracted 1.5m (7.3%) at 8pm, followed by Queen Victoria's Children, which gathered 1.1m (4.9%) at 9pm.
ITV's You Saw Them Here First entertained 4.5m (21.3%) at 8pm, with a further 398,000 (1.8%) tuning in on +1. Neighbourhood Force secured 2.3m (10.5%) at 9pm (190k/1.2% on +1).
On Channel 4, Extreme Diet Ward brought in 855k (4.0%) at 8pm (212k/1.0%), while the latest 24 Hours in A&E was seen by 1.8m (8.5%) at 9pm (465k/2.9%).
Channel 5's finale instalment of Myra Hindley: The Untold Story interested 799k (3.8%) at 8pm. Big Brother continued with 1.3m (6.0%) at 9pm (255k/1.6%), followed by Love/Hate with 646k (4.0%) at 10pm.
On BBC Three, Family Guy topped the multichannels at 11.30pm with 852k (9.9%), while WALL.E entertained 808k (3.7%) at 8.30pm.
