Nick and Margaret's 'Benefits' show drops 800k viewers

Nick Hewer and Margaret Mountford's BBC One show topped Thursday's ratings outside of soaps, according to overnight figures.

The Apprentice stars' second and final episode of We All Pay Your Benefits dropped around 800,000 viewers from last week to 3.77 million (19.8%) at 9pm.

Earlier, Cherry Healey's new show Britain's Favourite Supermarket Foods attracted 3.19m (18.2%) at 8pm. One-off documentary Meet the Landlords was seen by 2.38m (18.4%) at 10.35pm.

On BBC Two, Simon Reeve's Indian Ocean educated 1.25m (7.1%) at 8pm, followed by Hebrides: Islands on the Edge with 1.76m (9.2%) at 9pm. Mock the Week tickled 1.80m (10.0%) at 10pm.

ITV's Married to the Job appealed to 2.52m (14.4%) at 8.30pm (130k/0.7% on +1), while returning documentary series The Briefs interested 1.91m (10.0%) at 9pm (167k/1.0%).

On Channel 4, Supersize vs Superskinny gathered 591k (3.4%) at 8pm (105k/0.6%). First Dates entertained 708k (3.7%) at 9pm (126k/0.8%).

The final episode of four-part drama Run dipped to 620k (3.7%) at 10pm.

Channel 5's The Hotel Inspector Returns attracted 1.29m (6.4%) at 9pm. Big Brother's latest episode was seen by 1.43m (8.6%) at 10pm (78k/0.8%).

BBC Three's coverage of England women's departure from Euro 2014 against France scored 645k (3.6%) at 7pm.
