The Fall topped Monday evening's ratings outside of soaps for BBC Two, according to overnight data.
Gillian Anderson's crime drama came to an end by gaining 350,000 viewers from last week to 3.59 million viewers (15.9%) at 9pm.
Earlier, Springwatch continued with 2.51m (11.3%) at 8pm, while What a Load of Buzzcocks brought in 981k (5.3%) at 10pm.
On BBC One, Panorama was seen by 2.11m (9.1%) at 8.30pm, followed by the second D-Day: The Last Heroes with 2.64m (11.6%) at 9pm. Helicopter Rescue secured 2.14m (17.6%) at 10.45pm.
ITV's The Dales with Adrian Edmondson attracted 3.13m (14.6%) at 8pm. Sir Ian McKellen's final episode of Vicious climbed to 2.77m (12.2%) at 9pm (106k/0.6% on +1), while The Job Lot ended with 1.91m (8.4%) at 9.30pm.
On Channel 4, new drama Dates brought in 1.54m (8.3%) at 9pm, with a further 204k (2.0%) on +1. Big Fat Gypsy Weddings entertained 2.79m (12.3%) at 8pm (325k/1.9%).
Channel 5's The Gadget Show rose from last week's opener to 791k (3.5%) at 8pm. NCIS feature-length episode 'Legend' thrilled 1.25m (6.0%) at 9.15pm.
On BBC Four, Victoria Coren's Only Connect quizzed 604k (2.6%) at 8.30pm.
E4's Made in Chelsea continued with 692k (4.1%) at 10pm.
Game of Thrones' season three finale climbed to 736k (3.3%) at 9pm on Sky Atlantic.
