'Our Girl' watched by 5.3 million on Sunday night

Lacey Turner's army drama Our Girl pulled in a big audience for BBC One on Sunday night (March 24), overnight data has revealed.

An audience of 5.34 million (21.7%) tuned in at 9pm to see the ex-EastEnders actress's latest project.

Earlier in the evening, Countryfile pulled in 6.37 million (24.3%) at 7pm, while Antiques Roadshow had 5.12 million (19.5%) at 8pm.

However, ITV's latest episode of Foyle's War beat them all with an audience of 6.71 million (26.3%) watching at 8pm. Later, Perspectives had an audience of 2.66 million (13.2%) at 10pm.

Coronation Street was above the 8 million mark with its hour-long Sunday edition.

The Weatherfield soap pulled in 8.39m (32.1%) at 7pm on ITV as Jason was blamed for the Rovers Return fire.

The hour-long episode also picked up a big +1 audience of 707k (2.7%).

On Channel 4, the movie Red brought in 2.59 million (11.5%) at 9pm, while Channel 5 had success with the Sandra Bullock classic Miss Congeniality, which amused 1.48 million (5.7%) at 9pm.

US import Person of Interest intrigued 715k (3.5%) at 10pm on Channel 5.

BBC Two sketch show It's Kevin had an audience of 411k (2.3%) at 10.30pm.

BBC Three's zombie series In The Flesh has failed to secure the ratings of the channel's former hit Being Human, only attracting 392k (1.98%) at 10pm.

Elsewhere, Ashley Banjo's Secret Street Dance Crew had 505k (1.93 million) at 7pm on Sky1.
