'Food Glorious Food' sheds more viewers on Wednesday

Simon Cowell's Food Glorious Food continued to struggle in the ratings on Wednesday night, shedding even more viewers, overnight data has revealed.

The Carol Vorderman-hosted series slipped to 2.11 million (9.3%) at 8pm yesterday (March 13).

ITV's drama Lightfields also struggled with only 2.83m (12.5%) for the latest episode of the supernatural series.

BBC One's MasterChef pulled in a respectable 4.41m (19.5%) in its early slot of 8.30pm. The latest edition of The One Show attracted 3.96m (17.4%).

On BBC Two, two editions of Great British Menu cooked up 1.54m (6.7%) and 1.79m (7.8%) between 7.30pm and 8.30pm. At 9pm A Very British Wedding collected 1.11m (4.9%), while QI tickled 1.06m (4.8%) at 9.30pm.

Channel 4's Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners set partly in Coventry was watched by 1.56m (6.9%) at 8pm, while One Born Every Minute pulled in 2.07m (9.1%) at 9pm. New sitcom The Mimic had 1.19m (6.65%) at 10pm.

NCIS had an audience of 1.48m (6.5%) on Channel 5 at 9pm. Law and Order: SVU followed at 10pm with 670,000 (3.9%).

Meanwhile, the latest series of TOWIE is struggling to reach former highs with only 699k (4.1%) tuning in at 10pm on ITV.

On BBC Three, a repeat of the Oscar Pistorius documentary What Really Happened pulled in 507k (2.2%).
