I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! helped ITV1 to a clear primetime victory over BBC One last night.
The jungle reality show was seen by 8.5m (31.5%) from 9pm, beating Young Apprentice in the same timeslot, which achieved 3.45m (12.8%).
A further 518k (2.8%) watched it on ITV1+1, while 777k (4.2%) tuned in for I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here Now! on ITV2.
Little England drew 3.19m (12.4%) from 8pm on ITV1 and Real Crime was caught by 1.82m (14.3%) from 10.35pm and 104k (1.7%) on +1.
For BBC One, Young Apprentice was preceded by Panorama from 8.30pm, which had 2.12m (8.1%). Quiz show A Question of Sport scored 2.45m (16%) from 10.35pm.
BBC Two's University Challenge won 3.19m (12.3%) from 8pm. MasterChef: The Professionals and The Choir: Military Wives followed it with 2.83m (10.83%) and 2.66m (9.86%) respectively, while Never Mind the Buzzcocks rounded it off with 1.62m (8%) from 10pm.
Brave New World with Stephen Hawking was watched by 0.79m (3.4%) from 8pm for Channel 4. Afterwards, Britain's Greatest Codebreaker attracted 1.4m (5.4%) and 132k (0.8%) on +1, and We Need to Talk About Dad got 0.9m (6%) from 10.20pm (+1: 108k/1.5%).
Channel 5 received 225k for Celebrity Wish List from 7.30pm. The Gadget Show entertained 1.09m (4.1%) from 8pm, The Hotel Inspector drew 1.36m (5%) from 9pm and The Lost Orphan: Mirela's Story followed with 754k (4.1%).
ITV1 secured primetime with 27.2% (+1: 0.7%). BBC One had 17.3%, while BBC Two ended up with 8.8%. Channel 4 took 4.1% (+1: 0.6%) and Channel 5 had 3.6%.
Elsewhere, Terra Nova attracted 584k (2.2%) from 8pm for Sky1.
