I've only just caught up with this week's Downton Abbey. It's about the last day of the First World War so you'd think ITV would have shown it on Remembrance Sunday in a couple of week's time to coincide with the anniversary of the end of hostilities? Oddly too it played like a series finalé even though there is still one more episode to go.

Incidentally you have to see this programme in HD to fully appreciate the surroundings used in the series, they are quite remarkable.
