The Royle Family, BBC1: 10.2m (42.5%)

Doctor Who, BBC1 : 10m (42.2%)

Gavin & Stacey, BBC1: 9.2m (39.2%)

The Gruffalo, BBC1: 8.8m (42.6%)

Coronation Street, ITV1: 7.9m (32.4%)

Catherine Tate: Nan's Christmas Carol, BBC1: 7.1m (36.2%)

Strictly Come Dancing (right), BBC1: 6.8m (27.9%)

Shrek the Halls, BBC1: 5.6m (32%)

The Queen's speech, BBC1: 5.6m (36.7%)

Those viewing figures are interesting - I don't watch Eastenders - but the clips I see now and then I find donright depressing so I'm surprised it got top viewing !!

I thought the tv was pretty poor over Christmas - as it always is - so no disappoints there :D
