I don't know anybody personally who has it but this post from a technical forum of which I am a member may be of interest?

I'm sorry but someone had to spoil this Vision love-in.

I'm about 9 months into my contract and am counting the days until I can cancel.

The VOD works well and for a few weeks I enjoyed rummaging around in there. After that few weeks though, I had seen all I wanted to see and as I'm not interested in American television, there has been little added that I want to watch.

I have Bronze pack with film and sport. The films on Picture box started to come around again after only about 4 months so I don't use that any more. And who wants to watch sport that isn't live? The pack is good value as it includes ESPN. I watch ESPN with my card in a CAM in my TV rather than in the Vision box because it keeps 2 tuners free for PVR recording while I'm watching live sport. Recording ESPN to watch later would never happen for me.

I made a huge mistake in ordering vision when I moved home. When I add the cost of my line rental, Broadband (Which has to be unlimited for my needs) and Vision, I could get phone, broadband and Sky Sports 1,2,3 & 4 from Sky in HD for less or from Virgin in SD with super-fast broadband.

I'm undecided about which of the two I'll chose, but I know one thing; BT won't see me for dust!

We were with BT and paid extra to escape from the contract. We had the top package with phone and broadband but the internet kept going off and they said it was for updates. When we suggested that they update during the early hours when not many people were online, they seemed amazed that someone thought of such a revolutuionary idea.
after we had watched their limited offering which was basically freeview, we decided to move to Virgin and have never had any problems.

Had a giggle when I read that Elaine. I'm with TalkTalk - but no tv package as I watch very little tv - but BT have a poor reputation.

Hope all is well with you and you're well on the road to recovery

I am doing very well thanks. I am now being told that I look well which is a confidence booster. Now if I could just get a bit of sunshine and stop wearing the winter woolies, that would be lovely.

Elaine - so pleased that you're doing well. Don't hold your breath with regards to the sun. They said on the weather just now that the temperatures are more like February's - and to expect early morning frost (for Kent at least)

Can't even think of going to mainland Europe to grab some sun with this ash cloud :fuming:

Good luck and keep popping on here whenever you're up to it
