Chiles 'feels betrayed' by Bleakley

Adrian Chiles feels betrayed by former One Show co-host Christine Bleakley, according to reports.

The presenter, who last week defected to ITV from the BBC, apparently wanted more persuasion from Bleakley to stay at the corporation.

"Things have become highly uncomfortable between the pair. Christine always wanted Adrian to stay on the show, she thinks he's making a big mistake leaving," a source told The News of the World.

Another insider revealed: "That shows how edgy things are. They used to talk about everything, and the whole thing has been very stressful for her.

"It's been a very fraught few weeks. Adrian thinks she could have done more to help him and if she'd refused to work with Chris [Evans] they'd have been forced to abort the plans."

Chiles admitted that he was "disappointed" with the decision to hire the Radio 2 DJ for the programme's Friday editions.
