Nearly 4.5 million viewers watched Jenna Coleman's exit from Doctor Who last night (November 21), according to overnight figures.
'Face the Raven' drew an audience of 4.48 million (19.9%) on BBC One, the third-highest figure this series.
Earlier, Strictly Come Dancing's Blackpool special appealed to 10.3 million (44.7%).
It once again easily beat ITV's The X Factor, which had numbers of 6.55 million (29%) and a further 227k (1.1%) on +1.
During the 8pm overlap, Strictly was winding down with 8.54 million (36.2%) as The X Factor opened its live show with 5.59 million (23.7%).
Elsewhere on BBC One, Casualty treated 3.88 million (17.4%), and Match of the Day entertained 3.46 million (23.2%).
ITV's I'm a Celebrity continued with 7.16 million (34.6%) with 269k (1.9%) on +1.
On BBC Two, a Dad's Army repeat was enjoyed by 1.94 million (8.6%) and QI XL interested 1.22 million (5.5%).
