I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! gained back around 500,000 viewers on Thursday night for ITV.

Spencer Matthews, Ferne McCann and Vicky Pattison's arrival in the camp was seen by an average overnight audience of 7.81 million (35.4%) at 9pm (425k/2.7% on +1).

Earlier, Paul O'Grady's For the Love of Dogs continued to impress with 4.27m (19.5%) at 8.30pm (141k/0.6%).

On BBC One, Watchdog brought in 3.32m (15.4%) at 8pm, followed by Doctor in the House with 2.70m (12.2%) at 9pm.

BBC Two's MasterChef: The Professionals appealed to 2.84m (13.2%), while The Last Kingdom thrilled 1.60m (7.2%) at 9pm. Russell Howard's Good News amused 930k (5.2%) at 10pm.

On Channel 4, The Secret Life of 5-Year-Olds intrigued 1.98m (9.2%) at 8pm (264k/1.2%), followed by Kitchen Impossible with 613k (2.8%) at 9pm (113k/0.7%) and First Dates with 1.04m (6.8%) at 10pm (126k/1.5%).

On E4, The Big Bang Theory entertained 1.28m (5.8%) at 8.30pm (279k/1.3%).
