ITV has pulled tonight's (November 15) episode of Jekyll and Hyde following the terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday.
Writer Charlie Higson shared the news on Twitter, stating that episode four has been postponed and, in a later post, he noted: "We are just trying to be sensitive".
An ITV spokesperson confirmed the news to Digital Spy: "Tonight's episode of Jekyll and Hyde has been postponed in consideration of recent events in Paris."
No further explanation has been given as to why the episode has been pulled. According to the official synopsis, it reportedly features a gunfight.
Jekyll and Hyde was scheduled to air at 7pm before The X Factor. In its place, ITV is airing an episode of The Celebrity Chase at 6.30pm, with ITV News moved to 7.30pm.
