The Apprentice managed to achieve the exact same overnight ratings as last week for its children's book task.
The BBC One competition brought in an average audience of 5.59m (25.8%) at 9pm. Earlier, cop drama Cuffs dropped around 800,000 viewers from last week's launch to 3.40m (16.4%) at 8pm.
On BBC Two, Autumnwatch appealed to 2.15m (10.4%) at 8pm, followed by new documentary series Let Us Entertain You with 812k (3.7%) and The Apprentice: You're Fired! with 1.62m (9.5%) at 10pm.
ITV's All-Star Mr & Mrs entertained 3.45m (16.7%) at 8pm (120k/0.6% on +1), while Joanna Lumley's Elvis and Me documentary intrigued 3.00m (13.9%) at 9pm (235k/1.6%).
On Channel 4, Restoring Britain's Landmarks fascinated 921k (4.4%) at 8pm (109k/0.5%), followed by Grand Designs with 1.67m (7.7%) at 9pm (179k/1.2%).
Channel 5's GPs: Behind Closed Doors interested 1.16m (5.7%) at 8pm, while Can't Pay? We'll Take It Away! brought in 1.43m (6.6%) at 9pm (147k/1.0%).
On Sky 1, the latest Arrow picked up 352k (1.7%) at 8pm.
