The Class of 92's new BBC One TV series Out of Their League attracted over 3 million viewers on Thursday night.
Ryan Giggs, Gary Neville and their fellow teammates' running of Salford FC was seen by an average overnight audience of 3.09 million (15.4%) viewers at 9pm. Earlier, Watchdog brought in 3.99m (19.9%) at 7.30pm.
ITV's For the Love of Dogs with Paul O'Grady was the most-watched show of the night outside soaps with 4.03m (18.5%) at 8.30pm (195,000/1.0%), followed by the latest Unforgiven with 3.56m (17.8%) at 9pm (182k/1.2%).
On BBC Two, The Last Kingdom continued with 1.54m (7.7%) at 9pm, while Russell Howard's Good News tickled 832k (5.0%) at 10pm.
Channel 4's Amazing Spaces intrigued 1.19m (5.6%) at 8pm (322k/1.6%), followed by new series Kitchen Impossible with 1.13m (5.6%) at 9pm (184k/1.2%) and First Dates with 1.26m (8.7%) at 10pm (133k/1.7%).
On Channel 5, Chris Tarrant's Extreme Railways interested 1.27m (6.4%) at 9pm.
E4's latest Big Bang Theory episode amused 1.31m (6.1%) at 8.30pm (362k/1.8%), easily topping the multichannels. Supergirl arrived on Sky 1 with 584k (2.7%) at 8pm.
