Celebrity Big Brother's grand finale may have been affected by the live rugby on Thursday, as it was down by around 500,000 viewers from last year's series.
The overnight average audience for James Hill's victory was 1.65 million (9.0%), which is also down by around 900k from January's series. Later, Bit on the Side entertained 507k (6.3%) at 10.45pm, while Dogs Make You Laugh Out Loud amused 801k (4.2%) at 8pm.
On BBC One, Eat Well for Less managed to top the night outside soaps with 4.56m (23.7%) at 8pm, followed by Frank Gardner's Who Do You Think You Are? with 4.13m (20.7%) at 9pm. Question Time brought in 2.41m (22.9%) at 10.35pm.
BBC Two's Great British Menu was seen by 1.91m (10.4%) at 7.30pm, followed by World's Weirdest Events with 1.50m (7.8%) at 8pm and Cradle to Grave with 1.59m (7.9%) at 9pm. Boy Meets Girl dipped to 959k (4.9%) at 9.30pm, while Mock the Week tickled 1.16m (6.9%) at 10pm.
ITV's coverage of New Zealand's victory in the Rugby World Cup scored 3.01m (14.4%) from 7.30pm.
On Channel 4, Amazing Spaces interested 1.40m (7.3%) at 8pm (244k/1.2% on +1), followed by the latest Hunted with 1.25m (6.2%) at 9pm (147k/1.0%) and First Dates with 916k (6.1%) at 10pm (114k/1.4%).
ITV2's Celebrity Juice struggled with 463k (2.9%) at 10pm.
