New Tricks topped the ratings outside of soaps on Tuesday (August 11), according to overnight data.
The BBC One series brought in 5.69m (28.2%) at 9pm - an increase of more than 300,000 viewers from last week's instalment.
On BBC Two, Great British Menu continued with 1.81m (10.0%) at 7.30pm, before The House That £100k Built appealed to 1.77m (9.2%) at 8pm, and Are Our Kids Tough Enough? Chinese School interested 1.51m (7.5%) at 9pm.
ITV's Love Your Garden gathered 2.73m (14.3%) at 8pm (286k/1.4% on +1), while documentary Abducted averaged 1.06m (5.3%) at 9pm (102k/0.7%). Earlier, The Dales was seen by 2.0m (10.8%) at 7.30pm (85k/0.4%).
Channel 4's The Three Day Nanny interested 1.02m (5.3%) at 8pm (184k/0.9%), and Christian Louboutin: The World's Most Luxurious Shoes was watched by 1.31m (6.5%) at 9pm (216k/1.4%).
The Dog Rescuers with Alan Davies dipped slightly on Channel 5 with 1.10m (5.7%) at 8pm, while The Great British Benefits Hotel also intrigued 1.10m (5.4%) at 9pm (95k/0.6%). The Boy with Giant Hands followed with 1.0m (6.7%) at 10pm (69k/0.8%).
Meanwhile, E4's Tattoo Fixers climbed to 475k (3.2%) for its penultimate episode at 9pm.
