Wimbledon pulled in a strong audience for BBC One on men's semi-finals day this Friday (July 10), overnight ratings show.
BBC One's coverage averaged 4.29m (43.2%) from 1.45pm on Friday afternoon, as Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer made the final. However, audiences peaked at 6.87m (48.9%) between 5.45pm and 6pm, when Federer broke Andy Murray's serve at the end of the second set on his way to a thrilling 7-5, 7-5, 6-4 victory over the 2013 Wimbledon champion.
Post-match analysis on BBC Two attracted an audience of 1.01m (6.2%) from 6.30pm, while the recently-revamped highlights show Wimbledon 2Day was seen by 1.06m (5.9%) from 8pm.
Back on BBC One, Chris Evans's last edition of The One Show entertained 3.33m (20.3%) at 7pm, while a repeat of A Question of Sport aired to 2.32m (13.6%) at 8pm.
Celebrity MasterChef, featuring Keith Chegwin, former-EastEnders star Scott Maslen, Samira Ahmed and ex-The Wanted singer Tom Parker, was seen by 3.58m (19.4%) at 8.30pm.
On BBC Two, 1.88m (10.2%) tuned in for Gardeners' World at 9pm, with 1.17m (6.6%) watching documentary Spitfire Women at 10pm.
A busy day of sport continued on Channel 5, with 885k (5.3%) joining the channel at 7pm for highlights of Friday's play at The Ashes.
Documentary Conspiracy: The Hollywood Files intrigued 477k (2.7%) at 8pm, while 1.15m (6.4%) watched a live double eviction on Big Brother at 9pm as Harry Amelia Martin and Sam Kay were both sent home.
An hour-long edition of Big Brother's Bit on the Side aired to 549k (4.7%) from 10.30pm, as the fallout from the surprise Cash Bomb twist continued. Live footage from the house aired to 268k (3.7%) from 11.30pm.
ITV's Tonight aired to 2.08m (12%) at 8pm, with 1.91m (10.3%) watching Doc Martin at 9pm.
Over on Channel 4, 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown entertained 1.22m (6.6%) at 9pm, followed by 1.11m (7.4%) for satirical current affairs show The Last Leg at 10pm and 281k (3.1%) for a repeat of Man Down at 11pm.
Meanwhile, ITV4's coverage of the Tour de France aired to 569k (0.9%) at 7pm.
