Long Lost Family tops Wednesday viewing with 3.6m

Long Lost Family continued to perform strongly for ITV on Wednesday (July 8), according to overnight data.

The Davina McCall-fronted show remained consistent with 3.60m (18.4%) at 9pm, with a further 213k (1.4%) tuning in on +1. Earlier, The Cube kept 2.87m (15.7%) on the edge of their seats at 8pm (226k/1.2% on +1).

BBC One's Don't Tell the Bride entertained 2.79m (15.3%) at 8pm, while The Interceptor continued with 2.39m (12.2%) at 9pm.

On BBC Two, Wimbledon 2day rounded up the day's events with 1.86m (10.1%) at 8pm, before Children of the Gaza War interested 700k (3.6%) at 9pm, and QI averaged 730k (4.2%) at 10pm. Newsnight followed with 760k (6.1%) at 10.30pm.

Over on Channel 4, The Autistic Gardener gathered 1.08m (5.9%) at 8pm (186k/0.9%), while 24 Hours in A&E fascinated 1.76m (9.0%) at 9pm (253k/1.6%).

Big Brother's latest episode brought in 1.20m (7.6%) for Channel 5 at 9pm (58k/0.7%), while Nightmare Tenants, Slum Landlords was seen by 1.30m (6.7%) earlier at 9pm (166k/1.1%).

Sky Atlantic's The Affair drew to a close with 164k (0.8%) at 9pm, and Strike Back: Legacy thrilled 239k (1.2%) on Sky1 in the same timeslot.

Meanwhile, ITV2's Love Island rose to 511k (2.6%) at 9pm.
