Britain's Got Talent continues with 9.6 million viewers

Britain's Got Talent continued to dominate Saturdays last night (May 9) with an audience of more than 9.6 million, according to overnight figures.

The ITV reality competition appealed to 9.61m (45.1%) from 8pm, with a further 579k (2.9%) watching on +1.

Ninja Warrior UK managed 4.16m (23.9%) earlier in the evening, while Play to the Whistle entertained 2.64m (13.2%) from 9.20pm.

On BBC One, the latest Atlantis episode drew 2.63m (14%) from 7.35pm.

The National Lottery attracted 1.81m (8.7%), before VE Day 70: A Party to Remember averaged 4.76m (23.2%) from 8.30pm.

BBC Two's BBC Young Dancer 2015 coverage was watched by 920k (4.8%) between 7pm and 9.05pm. An airing of Salmon Fishing in the Yemen was caught by 871k (4.7%) from 9.15pm.

On Channel 4, The World's Most Extreme continued with 533k (2.6%) in the 8pm hour, and Russell Crowe's Robin Hood film averaged 807k (4.8%) afterwards.

Over on Channel 5, an episode of CSI interested 944k (4.7%).

The multichannels were topped by ITV2's Britain's Got More Talent, which drew 1.02m (5.1%) from 9.20pm.
