The BBC One drama brought in 4.45 million viewers (20.6%) on average, slightly down from last week's 4.49m.
On BBC Two, Young Vets was seen by 1.29m (7.2%) at 7pm, followed by Russia's Lost Princesses with 1.51m (7.5%) at 8pm and Super Senses with 1.37m (6.3%) at 9pm.
ITV's repeat of Ade at Sea appealed to 2.41m (12.9%) at 7.30pm (116,000/0.6% on +1), while a Midsomer Murders repeat was seen by 2.55m (12.2%) at 8pm (198k/1.0%).
On Channel 4, Dogs: Their Secret Lives attracted 1.63m (8.1%) at 8pm (300k/1.4%). The Worst Place to be a Pilot intrigued 1.17m (5.4%) at 9pm (229/1.4%), and Gordon Ramsay's Hotel Hell gathered 771k (4.6%) at 10pm (129k/1.4%).
Channel 5's Cowboy Builders interested 783k (3.9%) at 8pm, followed by the latest CSI with 1.13m (5.2%) at 9pm (149k/0.9%) and Celebrity Big Brother with 1.58m (9.6%) at 10pm (122k/1.4%).
On BBC Three, Don't Tell the Bride entertained 664k (3.1%) at 9pm, while Family Guy tickled 856k (10.4%) at 11.30pm.
Sky1's Got To Dance continued with 328k (1.7%) at 7.30pm.
