World Cup dominates Saturday viewing figures...

The series finale of Wallander managed more than 540,000 viewers on BBC Four last night (June 21), according to overnight figures.

In a quiet night for primetime, the crime drama took 541k (2.9%) between 9pm and 10.30pm.

BBC One's coverage of the World Cup match featuring Germany and Ghana, which ended in a 2-2 draw, dominated terrestrials averaging 5.81m (33.6%).

On BBC Two, The Culture Show took 784k (4.7%) from 8pm and I Love 1996 grabbed 665k (3.4%).

Airing afterwards as part of '90s sitcom night were Gimme Gimme Gimme (742k/4.2%), The Mrs Merton Show (620k/4.1%) and Game On (398k/3.2%).

On ITV, feature-length documentary Our Queen appealed to 1.64m (8.8%) from 8.30pm.

Channel 4's The Restoration Man was watched by 531k (3.8%), followed by Grand Designs with 908k (5.5%).

An airing of Jennifer Lawrence movie The Hunger Games posted 2.21m (13.4%) from 9pm.

The latest Big Brother highlights show on Channel 5 managed 861k in the 9pm hour. Preceding it was The ABBA Years with 597k (3.6%).

On ITV3, Doc Martin continued with 759k (4.6%) from 8pm.
