Ripper Street dropped by a further 300,000 viewers for its third episode on Monday, according to overnight figures.
The BBC One drama was seen by 3.97 million (17.0%) at 9pm. Earlier, Panorama interested 2.75m (11.0%) at 8.30pm.
On BBC Two, University Challenge quizzed 2.81m (11.7%) at 8pm, while MasterChef: The Professionals cooked up 2.74m (10.9%) at 8.30pm.
The Choir held steady for its second episode with 2.62m (11.2%) at 9pm. Never Mind the Buzzcocks tickled 1.21m (6.3%) at 10pm.
ITV's Tales from Northumberland interested 3.52m (14.6%) at 8pm (121k/0.5% on +1). Martin Clunes's A Mother's Son brought in 2.64m (11.3%) at 9pm (131k/0.8%).
On Channel 4, 999 appealed to 1.72m (7.4%) at 9pm (255k/1.5%), while Fresh Meat amused 840k (4.9%) at 10pm (151k/1.8%).
Channel 5's Josie Gibson documentary Got Thin, Got Fat Again attracted 1.10m (4.7%) at 9pm (112k/0.7%). The latest Under the Dome also brought in 1.10m (6.3%) at 10pm.
On BBC Three, Novak Djokovic's ATP World Tour Finals win scored 1.03m (4.5%) at 7.30pm. BBC Four's Only Connect gathered 896k (3.6%) at 8.30pm.
E4's Made in Chelsea entertained 509k (3.2%) at 10pm (213k/2.7%), while ITV2's Peter Andre: My Life attracted 701k (3.0%) at 9pm (143k/0.8%).
