Ratings: 'I Love My Country' climbs to 2.9m on Saturday

I Love My Country climbed slightly to 2.88m (16.6%) on Saturday (August 24), overnight data suggests.

The BBC One show, which aired from 7pm, was up 110,000 from last week and down 80k from its debut.

Meanwhile, That Puppet Game Show fell to 1.9m (12.1%) at 6.30pm, down 130k on last Saturday's instalment.

The National Lottery: Break the Safe scored 4m (21.2%) at 7.45pm, while Casualty was watched by 4.30m (21.2%) at 8.45pm and Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow pulled in 2.95m (15.6%) at 9.30pm. Match of the Day followed with 3.42m (24.5%) at 10.30pm.

ITV showed Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince to 4.28m (22.6%) at 7pm (489k/2.6% on +1). The latest episode of The Americans was seen by 1.09m (5%) at 9.50pm (110k/0.8%).

On BBC Two, Proms Extra 2013 aired from 7pm, with 710k (4.1%) tuning in. Dad's Army had 1.37m (7.4%) at 7.45pm and Thatcher interested 820k (6.2%) at 8.15pm.

America's Stoned Kids earned 930k viewers (4.8%) from 9.15pm, after which QI: XL had 1.13m (6.7%) at 10.15pm.

Movie double bill Mission: Impossible 2 and The A-Team took 950k (5.1%) and 1.07m (6.4%) respectively from 7pm on Channel 4 (196k/1% and 210k/1.8%).

Elsewhere, two episodes of NCIS appealed to 586k (3%) and 928k (4.7%) from 8pm on Channel 5 (42k/0.2% and 97k/0.6%), while the latest episode of Celebrity Big Brother interested 1.49m (8.8%) at 10pm (152k/1.4%) and Celebrity Big Brother's Bit on the Psych grabbed 540k (4.8%) an hour later (110k/1.9%).

Ford Saturday Night Football Live was the highest rated broadcast on the multichannels, picking up 1.06m (6.6%) on Sky Sports 1 at 5pm. Lewis was second with 989k (5.4%) at 9pm on ITV3.
