'Don't Tell The Bride' nears 1m viewers on BBC Three

BBC Three's Don't Tell The Bride came close to 1m viewers on Tuesday evening, as The Body Farm again outgunned 71 Degrees North, overnight data has revealed.

Don't Tell The Bride, featuring grooms planning their entire wedding days without the involvement of their future wives, averaged a healthy 953k (4.1%) for BBC Three in the 9pm hour.

Also in the 9pm slot, crime drama The Body Farm continued with 4.7m (20.3%) on BBC One, easily beating icy reality show 71 Degrees North's 2.47m (10.7%) on ITV1 and 221k (1.3%) on +1.

Elsewhere, Mayday Mayday fetched 2.65m (12.7%) on ITV1 from 7.30pm. Missing Millions had 2.45m (10.8%) in the 8pm hour, but lost out to Holby City's 4.99m (22%) on BBC One. Hedge Wars grabbed 2.22m (16.5%) on BBC One from 10.45pm.

BBC Two's repeat of Dragons' Den attracted 1.3m (6.5%) in the 7pm hour, before The Great British Bakeoff cooked up 3.89m (17.1%) in the 8pm slot. Hairy Bikers' Meals On Wheels delighted 1.87m (8.1%) on BBC Two. Later Live With Jules Holland captivated 610k (3.2%) from 10pm.

New show Gok's Clothes Roadshow styled 1.22m (5.3%) on Channel 4 from 8pm and 268k (1.2%) on +1. Seven Dwarves averaged 1.33m (5.7%) in the 9pm hour, and 234k (1.4%) an hour later, before new Shameless continued with 1.32m (9.1%) from 10pm and 149k (2%) on timeshift.

Real Food Family Cook Off served up 299k (1.4%) on Channel 5 from 7.30pm. Superior Interiors with Kelly Hoppen launched with 549k (2.4%) in the 8pm slot, before CSI: Miami investigated 1.58m (6.8%) from 9pm. Big Brother entertained 1.39m (8%) in the 10pm hour.

Overall, BBC One won primetime with 22.9%, ahead of ITV1's modest 12.9% (+1: 0.5%). BBC Two came next with 9.2%, followed by Channel 4 with 5.5% (+1: 0.7%) and Channel 5 with 4.5%.

On the multi-channels, The Mrs Bradley Mysteries entertained 498k (2.3%) on BBC Four between 9pm and 10.30pm.
