Pig farmer Darren Thompson wins £1 million

Simon Cowell's ITV1 gameshow Red or Black? has seen its latest contestant Darren Thompson win the £1m jackpot.



The pig farmer from Yorkshire chose black on the final roulette spin. He was swiftly mobbed on stage by friends and family.

"What can I say? I can't think of anything to say," he told hosts Ant & Dec. His girlfriend then noted that they could get married following the win.

The gameshow has so far found three millionaires, with Nathan Hageman controversially winning the jackpot on Saturday night, and carer Kevin Cartwright winning the top prize on Sunday.

Ian Murphy was the first contestant to miss out on the opportunity to win £1m on Monday, followed by Andy Morton, who suffered the same fate on Wednesday.
