Bleakley 'offered £1m deal to join ITV'

Christine Bleakley has reportedly been offered £1 million to join ITV.

Bleakley's former One Show host Adrian Chiles left the BBC for a job on the channel earlier this year.

According to The Sun, Chiles is now hoping that Bleakley will join him as a host on GMTV.

"Adrian really wants Christine to follow him over to GMTV," a source said. "She is the one thing he misses at the BBC."

Earlier, reports suggested that ITV is planning to axe all of the current presenters on GMTV.

This is the same ITV which claims it "cannot afford" to broadcast local news or children's programmes and is demanding a share of the BBC license fee!
