The Apprentice was beaten in Wednesday night's ratings by ITV's special I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! episode.
Coming Out reunited the celebs after their jungle adventure, attracting an average overnight audience of 6.01 million (26.8%) at 8pm (422,000/2.0% on +1).
Prey launched its second series with 3.16m (14.6%) at 9pm (172k/1.2%).
On BBC One, The Apprentice made 5.32m (24.6%) squirm at 9pm for potentially the least successful task of all time. Poor Brett.
Earlier, Cuffs continued with 2.84m (12.6%) at 8pm. On BBC Two, You're Fired! brought in 1.93m (11.1%) at 10pm.
On Channel 4, 24 Hours in A&E interested 1.43m (6.6%) at 9pm (391k/2.6%), followed by Peep Show with 616k (3.6%) at 10pm (121k/1.4%).
Sky 1's Arrow thrilled 438k (1.9%) at 8pm. On Channel 5, Can't Pay? We'll Take It Away was seen by 1.12m (5.2%) at 9pm (156k/1.0%).
