The Great British Bake Off continued to dominate the ratings on Wednesday (August 12) despite losing around 430,000 viewers from its opening episode, according to overnight data.
The drama and delights of Biscuit Week brought in a hefty 8.87m (14.8%) at 8pm, while Earth's Natural Wonders followed with 4.36m (22.6%) at 9pm.
On BBC Two, Great British Menu appealed to 1.39m (7.5%) at 7.30pm, before Horizon averaged 1.02m (4.8%) at 8pm, and Signed, Sealed, Delivered: Inside the Post Office interested 770k (4.0%) at 9pm.
ITV's Foyle's War entertained 1.83m (9.0%) between 8pm and 10pm, while a further 203,000 (1.2%) tuned in on +1.
Over on Channel 4, Supervet in the Field brought in 1.10m (5.2%) at 8pm (396k/2.0 on +1), while One Born Every Minute followed with 1.29m (6.7%) at 9pm (246k/1.6%).
Channel 5's The Nightmare Neighbour Next Door shocked 1.23m (5.8%) at 8pm (79k/0.4%), while Undercover Benefits Cheat was seen by 1.51m (7.8%) at 9pm (95k/0.6%). Wentworth Prison continued with 632k (4.2%) at 10pm (61k/0.7%).
Meanwhile, E4's US imports Jane the Virgin and Nashville averaged 205k (1.1%) at 9pm and 198k (1.3%) at 10pm respectively.
