The Syndicate continued with more than 5 million viewers last night (June 16), according to overnight figures.
The BBC One programme appealed to 5.19m (25.6%) in the 9pm hour, before Dara O'Briain Meets Stephen Hawking was seen by 2.09m (18.1%) from 10.35pm.
On BBC Two, Alex Polizzi: Chefs on Trial managed 925k (5.5%) from 7pm.
Natural World and An Hour to Save Your Life followed with 1.83m (10%) and 1.98m (9.8%) respectively.
ITV's Me and My Guide Dog attracted 1.91m (10.5%) in the 8pm hour. The Enforcers was watched by 1.67m (8.2%).
On Channel 4, Running the Shop averaged 1.12m (6.1%) before No Offence had 1% (4.9%).
Channel 5's latest Big Brother episode - which saw Brian Belo and Helen Wood fall out - appealed to 1.13m (7.3%) from 10pm, with 468k (5.6%) sticking around for Bit on the Side.
Earlier, The Dog Rescuers was seen by 890k (4.9%) and OAPs Behaving Badly garnered 944k (4.7%).
The multichannels were topped by ITV3's Midsomer Murders, which averaged 941k (4.9%).
