Ordinary Lies drops to 4.5m against football on Tuesday

BBC One's Ordinary Lies fell below 5 million viewers for its third episode, according to overnight figures for Tuesday (March 31).

The Jason Manford-led drama averaged 4.51m (20.1%) at 9pm when up against ITV's coverage of England's international fixture. Costa Del Sol: Last Brits Standing was seen by 2.41m (22.7%) at 10.45pm.

On ITV, England's draw with Italy was the night's most-watched programme outside of soaps, with an audience of 5.43m (24.8%) between 7.30pm and 10pm. A further 72,000 (0.4%) tuned in on ITV+1.

On BBC Two, Alex Polizzi: The Fixer interested 1.16m (5.9%) at 7pm, before Back in Time for Dinner entertained 2.50m (11.2%) at 8pm, and Dara and Ed's Great Big Adventure averaged 1.51m (6.7%) at 9pm. Nurse followed with 740k (4.4%) at 10pm.

Channel 4's Burger Bar to Gourmet Star continued with 670k (3.0%) at 8pm (75k/0.3%), while One Born Every Minute brought in 1.29m (5.8%) at 9pm (296k/1.9%). The latest episode of Teens gathered 420k (2.7%) at 10pm (69k/0.8%).

Over on Channel 5, Costa Del Casualty: Benidorm ER appealed to 910k (4.1%) at 8pm. 40 Kids By 20 Women intrigued 715k (3.2%) at 9pm, while Nanna Love: 50 Shades of Granny aired to 850k (5.4%) at 10pm.

BBC Three's World's Toughest Jobs was seen by 428k (1.9%) at 9pm, while E4's The 100 played to 626k (2.8%) in the same timeslot.
